Interpreting the Song
Presented by Composer-in-Residence A. Paul Johnson
Join Bryn Du Mansion's Composer-in-Residence, A. Paul Johnson, for an interactive workshop exploring the art of song interpretation. Through examples from a variety of musical genres, participants will examine how songs have evolved through different performances and covers, discovering how each artist brings a unique perspective to the music.
Whether you're a singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, or simply someone interested in storytelling through music, this workshop will help you uncover the dramatic arc within a song and explore how vocal choices can highlight key elements of the story.
