Meet Our Juror
Juliellen Byrne

The sculptor Julie Byrne lives with her husband in an 1860’s brick farmhouse on property that abuts the old Ohio Canal. She lives with a rabbit and a dog that share the kitchen, chickens, and ducks and a marvelous selection of birds, just outside the door. Their children have left the nest. Julie maintains a clay studio in Columbus and she owns and operates a paint your own pottery business that is also in Columbus.  She also opened a wet clay classroom in the Grandview neighborhood of Columbus called One Bowl.
Byrnes ceramic sculpture work is figurative. She has a website called Juliebyrneceramics.com. Her work is also seen on Instagram @Juliemakesstuff.  She is currently exhibiting her sculptures in a one person show called Mother Tongue Lets Chat at Shawnee State University at the Appleton Gallery.  She is also showing in a one person show at The Southern Ohio Museum called Of Eden, both shows exhibit sculpture and Drawings. She also spent the Month of September 2024 drawing at an artist’s community in Galway, Ireland called Watershed in Bushy Park.

Please enjoy a few photographs from the 2023 Art Show. Opening night photography is courtesy of Bryan Ghiloni Photography! For more of Bryan's photos and our in-the-moment candids, please visit us at https://www.instagram.com/brynduartshow or www.facebook.com/BrynDuDoesArt.
