About Bryn Du
The historic Bryn Du Mansion has dominated the landscape of this 52-acre estate in the charming village of Granville, Ohio, east of Columbus, since 1905. It’s colorful history, and the legacy of the families that lived here, add to the rich environment and unique facilities. The Bryn Du property, once known as "McCune's Villa," has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982.
The total property consists of 52.78 acres. The front field, known as the Great Lawn or Polo Field, is 32.24 acres. There are a total of eight buildings on the remaining acreage including the Federal style Mansion, circa 1905, the 7200 sq ft Field House built in the 1990's, the 1920's Mission style Carriage House meeting space, an Art Center in the former pool house/power house, Spring House green room for performers with its own outdoor stage area, the Cramer House or former laundry house which is home to the Artist-in-Residence, historic Horse Barn and the Gardener’s Cottage, along with beautifully landscaped patios and gardens, including a newly designed prairie garden.

The property is managed by the Bryn Du Commission established by the Village of Granville in 2004.
