Europe Through an Artist's Eyes: Exhibit by Michelle Boerio

Artist Michelle Boerio is proving that you can live your artistic passion and still embark on trips of a lifetime. On a recent "self-funded sabbatical", Boerio stepped to the sound of jazz music and the sight of fine art as she strolled through Paris, to Lyon, and down into Italy. She temporarily settled in Bologna for a month where she could still take part in smaller excursions throughout the area. For example, exploring Florence and taking a gilding (gold leaf) workshop. Boerio will be wrapping up her adventure by traveling around Pompei and the Amalfi coast.

During her trip, Boerio has been making small paintings about the places she's experienced as well as the plants and animals of Europe. We invite everyone to come to view her pieces and hear about her experiences.
