Colored Pencil Workshop With Artist in Residence Tim McCool

Colored pencils are a great medium for adding richness and beauty to your line drawings. This workshop will describe some foundational colored pencil techniques. We'll talk about the differences between pencil brands and paper brands, before diving into a project focused around blending colors. We'll also discuss some basics about color theory and how to create your own color palettes and color harmonies. The workshop will be geared toward beginning drawing students but more advanced learners are welcome.
