Service Description

Let's get ready for the longest night of the year together by learning to create your very own felted luminaria. When lit, white merino wool emits the warmest, softest glow that will add the perfect touch of hygge to your cold winter nights. In this class you will learn the ancient technique of wet felting while going beyond the basics of two dimensions to create a three dimensional woolen vessel that you can keep for yourself or give as a gift for the holidays. This workshop includes 2 hours of instruction, high quality merino wool, all supplies needed for the actual felting process. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced. Materials Provided by Instructor: Wool, form, felting surfaces, battery operated LED tea light candle. Material List for Student: The only supplies participants need to bring are: an old bath towel and hand towel (these will only be getting wet, no paint etc is involved), a bar of soap or small bottle of dish soap.
