About the event
Ticks are on the rise in Ohio, with the number of medically significant species increasing dramatically over the past two decades. Some of these ticks can transmit diseases or even trigger serious allergic reactions, making awareness and prevention more important than ever.
As part of the Life Local series at Bryn Du Mansion, join Dean Kreager, Educator with the Ohio State University Extension, for an informative session on the current state of ticks and tick-borne illnesses in Ohio. You’ll gain practical knowledge on how to identify risks and take proactive steps to protect your family, pets, and livestock.
This is an important opportunity to stay informed, ask questions, and better understand how to stay safe in an evolving outdoor environment.
