The Great Circle Alliance and Bryn Du welcome Marlena Myles, a Spirit Lake Dakota multidisciplinary artist, back to Ohio in October. Marlena visited the Newark Earthworks and other important sites in April and returns in October to exhibit artwork created in response to her experiences.

About the event
Bryn Du Mansion, and the Great Circle Alliance welcome Marlena Myles, a Spirit Lake Dakota multidisciplinary artist, back to Ohio in October. Marlena visited the Newark Earthworks and other important sites in April and returns in October to exhibit artwork created in response to her experiences. Marlena’s deep knowledge of indigenous traditions and history makes her an engaging storyteller.
UNESCO designated the Newark Earthworks a World Heritage site in September 2023, bringing international recognition to our community. The Great Circle Alliance works to host Native American artists who help restore the ancient stories embedded in this sacred land.
