Join us for an evening of music that bridges past and present as composer and pianist A. Paul Johnson presents Bach to the Future in the Bryn Du Mansion. This unique recital pairs timeless works by Johann Sebastian Bach with Johnson’s own original compositions, offering a fresh and engaging listening experience in our beautiful historic mansion.
The program will feature selections such as Bach’s E minor Toccata alongside Johnson’s inventive works, including pieces from his Eclectric Preludes and his widely performed Variations on Two Tempi di Blues, praised for blending classical structure with jazz and contemporary influences.
An accomplished composer and performer, Johnson has received national recognition for his work and has collaborated with orchestras and theaters across the country and abroad. As Bryn Du’s Artist-in-Residence, this performance is a special opportunity to experience his artistry in an intimate, relaxed environment.
