Artist-in-Residence Open Studio and Demonstration

As part of Art Show Opening Weekend, guests are invited into the working studio of Bryn Du’s artist-in-residence, Erin Treacy, for an open studio and live demonstration. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe large-scale paintings in progress inspired by tree root systems, canopies, and the interconnectedness of natural and human ecologies.

Erin will be actively working throughout the day, offering insight into her creative process and the development of layered, textured surfaces built using oil, acrylic, and charcoal. This open studio experience provides a behind-the-scenes look at how concept, material, and process come together in contemporary painting.

This open studio and demonstration is free and open to the public thanks to our partners at the Granville Community Foundation.
