Watercolor Spring Flowers Workshop

Service Description

This Mother’s Day, make your own flowers in this one-time watercolor painting workshop. In this one-time workshop with instructor Michelle Boerio, we will create a playful floral painting that uses watercolor and other drawing materials. No experience with art is required, this class welcomes all skill levels. All supplies are provided by the instructor, but students are welcome to bring their own paints and brushes if desired. Students will explore different methods and materials for painting and drawing with plants as our subject. Projects to include: • Practice mixing color wet-into-wet and using multiple dry layers. • Experiment with masking and weird materials like salt, crayons, cling wrap etc.. • Practice drawing loosely to create initial drawings for painting. • Create a flower bouquet painting using watercolor. All Materials instructor provided: • Watercolor paper • An assorted set of brushes with at least one 1” width or larger brush • Palettes • Watercolor paint • Pencils and sketch paper • Flower bouquet or reference images

Cancellation Policy

Registrations may be cancelled up to one week prior to the class or workshop by contacting the Bryn Du office. Cancellations will be subject to a processing fee.
