Studio Adventures in Pastel

Service Description

Join Meredith Martin for four relaxing but educational weeks of painting in pastel, with weekly demonstrations by Meredith. Each class, bring your current pastel project OR start a new project, and paint in the fun environment of the Bryn Du studio with Meredith and others who love pastels. Meredith will be on hand to offer help, suggestions, and expertise if you choose. During every studio session she’ll demonstrate a different pastel technique, including dry wash, resist, wet washing, using fixative for texture, and more if time allows! Expand your pastel vision, take time to work on your own paintings, and join us! This class is appropriate for all levels of experience. Supplies: Students bring their own pastels and paintings in progress, or materials to begin a new painting. No other supplies are required. Instructor will provide backing boards, tape and other accessory items.

Cancellation Policy

Registrations may be cancelled up to one week prior to the class or workshop by contacting the Bryn Du office. Cancellations will be subject to a processing fee.
