Granville, Ohio— The Bryn Du Commission announces Angela Katona as their new Program and Promotion Coordinator. She will be responsible for the management and development of the Bryn Du Art Center, Annual Bryn Du Art Show, Life/Local Program, Artist in Residence Program and additional arts-related and cultural events.
“We are very proud to welcome Angela to our team at the Bryn Du Mansion and Art Center,” said Candi Moore, President of the Bryn Du Commission. “The Bryn Du Commission is dedicated to consistently providing quality programming to the community. We feel that her presence fills a much anticipated need to help us further develop our mission.”
The newly-created position of Program and Promotion Coordinator allows the Mansion to expand upon and provide additional support and expertise to community programming on campus. In 2017, there was an organized activity on the Bryn Du campus for 356 days, or 98% of the year. Of that usage, 91% was by members of the Granville community. The Commission takes pride in being extremely conscientious of operating costs in alignment to its core purpose. Since 2004, the Bryn Du Commission, with support from the Village of Granville, has provided program and event facilities for the benefit of the community while maintaining a mission of historic preservation.
Angela Katona comes to the Commission with a background in professional organizing and community event planning. She joins the existing staffing team of Executive Director Bruce Cramer and Office and Events Coordinator Athena Koehler.
