This 5 week course will focus on the introductory aspects of digital photography and using a D-SLR camera with manual adjustments. Students will learn in a hand-on environment by executing specific projects pertaining to basic camera controls such as Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO. The class will also explore composition through the Principles and Elements of Design and observing some of the great photographic masters throughout history. Participants will end the course with an exhibition of their work in the Eddie Wolfe Gallery.
The course will be taught by professional photographer, Bryan Ghiloni and is open to students 14 and older. Students are required to bring their own D-SLR camera. In the event of a full class, an additional section may be added. Intermediate and Advanced classes TBA. Please email for more information.
